The sweet memories on sweet December
Today is the first day of the month of December and when I was young, I was told by a pastor that we have to make the best voice and greet each other "Sweet December" so that our voice will be sweet!
And it is also observed as World AIDS Day to show support to people living with HIV and to commemorate those who have died. The first WAD was held in 1988.
Memories are not always sweet. But it is always good to remember the sweet memories.
Dad - I miss you. You have brought me up to be what I am today and since you left me, you have been missed always. But thank you so much for your guidance, no matter what I am today, you have made me a man of love, a man of respect and I am always thankful for that. I consider myself strong but sometimes I have to cry when I feel so heavy and I wish you were with me to comfort me. And I know you do because you told me to get closer to God as you could not be with us all the time but God is. You are the most understanding person in my life and though you have parted 11 years ago, we could not forget. Thank you for all the sweet memories.
Old friends, old jeans and old sneakers. A piece of wood pinned would always have the mark even if it the pin is taken away. But you know, there were sweet memories we shared together.
No more alcohol in my life because it ruined part of mine. But I thank God for giving me someone who would love me unconditionally. And I trust that. It is always a pain to see you that way.
A friend is always with me I hope. I miss you and wish you could be near me all the time. You shared your life with me.
